Dr. Moore helps companies leverage data, machine learning, and economic modeling to develop actionable, strategic insights grounded on his profound expertise in computer science and economics. For over a decade, Dr. Moore has assisted firms working in the forefront of multiple industries, including healthcare, technology and telecommunications, banking, industrial chemicals, distribution logistics, and online education.

Prior to starting his consulting practice, Dr. Moore was Senior Vice President of Consumer Experience at a successful online education startup. Joining the firm while an early-stage startup, Dr. Moore spent the ensuing five years driving rapid revenue growth grounded on insights from integrating data science and economic modeling. Under Dr. Moore’s leadership, the firm was able to raise $100 million in venture-backed capital which ultimately resulted in a successful acquisition by NBCUniversal Media LLC. As a member of the leadership team, Dr. Moore was instrumental in setting the strategic vision for the organization while overseeing multiple large teams focused on marketing and product management.

Dr. Moore was previously at McKinsey & Company where he served clients across a variety of sectors with engagements covering marketing and pricing strategies, operational transformations, and strategic due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Moore also did research at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco where he worked on macroeconomic analyses including monetary policy and economic forecasts for Federal Open Market Committee policy briefings.

Dr. Moore's graduate economic research focused on public finance, specifically on the design and evaluation of unemployment insurance and Medicare policies. Dr. Moore’s scholarly work on the intersection of economic research and government policy was recognized by the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was honored with an appointment as a James M. and Cathleen D. Stone PhD Scholar.
